Return to Classroom
On Friday afternoon we were allowed to move back into Room 5. Hooray!! Our doors look great.
In the Library
Room 5 have been working in the library while our new doors are being installed. The children have enjoyed having access to lots of books.

School Production
We have been very busy preparing for the production, "THE GREAT KIWI CONUNDRUM". This will be performed three times for the public, Monday 29 June at 10.00am, Tuesday 30 June at 6.30pm and Wednesday 1 July at 6.30pm. All children are in the performance. It is recommended that families with pre-schoolers come to the Monday morning show. Tickets are $5 each and go on sale TOMORROW in the school office. Seats are very limited so be in quick! Here are some photos of our item. 
Solar System Song
Today we listened to the Solar System song
It is a great song about the planets and has a very calming effect on the children.

The New Doors in Room 5
The new doors and windows are being installed in Room 5. We are working in the school library while this is being done. We went down to see the men putting the sliding doors in place. They arrived on a big trailer. Our room will look great when it is finished.
Awards Week 8
Welcome to John & well done to Sophie who received the Principal's Award this week, also Emmy-Jean who has received 10 certificates for a range of activities.

Rocket Ship
Our budding rocket engineers built racing rocket ships with the large blocks. It was a great co-operative work effort.

Turtle Visit
Today, Mrs Edge brought her baby turtle 'Pee-Wee' to visit Room 5 & 6. It is ver tiny. It liked being in our room. It had a swim and a little walk on the floor! Some of us got to hold it. It tickled our hands when it moved!! We liked Pee-Wee visiting us at school.

Junior School Cross Country Race
The weather was great for our Cross Country a Race. All the children in Room 5 participated and gave their best effort. We'll done Everyone!
