Brooklyn's Chicken

Brooklyn, from Room 6, brought her little chicken to visit Room 5.

Room 5 Olympics

Because it was too wet to hold our School Olympics outside, Room 5 had some 'Mini Olympics' in the classroom. There were two countries represented- Brazil and New Zealand. The children had a lot of fun!

School Olympics Parade

On Friday 12 August, we were to hold a School Olympics Sports Day. However, after a week of beautiful sunshine, the weather changed and it was too wet to hold the Sports!!  It was disappointing, but we did manage  to have  the School Olympics Parade before the rain arrived. Each class representing a country, marched around the school playground area.  It was a lot of fun with children dressed in their adopted country's colours, waving flags.

Room 5 children, representing Brazil, before the parade.

Waiting to march in the parade, alongside South Africa (Room 7/8).

Room 10 (China) Room 13 (USA) and Room 14 (Great Britain) waiting to march.
